She comes from a long line of strong, inspiring women and we wanted to celebrate this in her name.

Marianna - is a combination of her grandmothers’ names Maria and Dianna. Both also named after iconic women.

Maria – Mother of Jesus worshipped by many Christians all over the world as the giver of life.

Dianna – The Roman goddess of nature, fertility and childbirth

Chiyoko – Is her great-grandmother and link to her Japanese heritage. Befittingly this name means child of a thousand generations.
千 (chi) "thousand" and 代 (yo) "generations" and 子 (ko) "child"
